2. Services Provided

Alex Lockhart Art offers the following services:

  • Commissioned portraits of individuals, families, pets and places.
  • Art workshops for children aged 4-11.
  • Sketchbook group activities.

3. Commissions

3.1 Portrait Commissions:

  • Once a commission is confirmed, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total price is required before work begins.
  • Completion timelines vary depending on the scope of the project. Estimated timeframes will be provided, but delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Any changes requested after work begins may incur additional costs.
  • High-resolution images of the final work will not be released until full payment is received.

3.2 Copyright and Usage:

  • Alex Lockhart Art retains the copyright to all commissioned works. Clients are granted a personal, non-commercial license to display the artwork.
  • Clients may not reproduce, distribute, or sell the commissioned works without explicit permission from Alex Lockhart Art.

4. Workshops and Sketchbook Group

4.1 Children’s Art Classes:

  • Classes are available for children aged 4-11.
  • Parents/guardians must complete the booking process and provide necessary contact information.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking. Cancellations with a full refund are available if made at least 48 hours before the class. No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the class.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that their child is collected promptly at the end of the class.
  • Alex Lockhart Art reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes. In such cases, participants will be notified and offered an alternative class or a full refund.

4.2 Sketchbook Group:

  • Participation in the sketchbook group is open to all. A fee is required upon booking.
  • The group is designed for creative expression and skill-building. Participants are encouraged to respect others’ work and refrain from disruptive behavior.
  • Alex Lockhart Art reserves the right to remove participants who do not comply with these standards.

5. Payment Terms

  • Payments for commissioned works, workshops, and other services must be made via the website’s payment gateway.
  • We accept PayPal. Payment details are encrypted and processed securely.
  • Failure to complete payment may result in the cancellation of your order or booking.

6. Liability

  • Alex Lockhart Art is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of this website or services, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or personal injury.
  • Parents/guardians assume full responsibility for their child’s safety during art classes.

7. Privacy

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions
